You may be a writer of fiction, memoir or poetry, but with guidance you could write a couple of 8-10-page units for ten-year-old children, couldn’t you? You’d be given a format and style guide to follow, but you’d have scope to use your own creativity. You’d be paid on publication, credited by name in the Acknowledgements, and your work might well lead to future writing assignments.”
