The month of October marked the International School Library Month that was celebrated across Zimbabwe through the initiatives of ZimLA Branches located in the major provinces. The major thrust was to revitalise school libraires activities and make plans to see more school librarians taking charge of the school library.
Held under the theme “School libraries: a key to the past, the present and the future”, the celbrations acttracted a number of schools and pupils that joined hands with librarians to commemorated the event. The following are branch reports that summerised the events and a paper that was presented in Bulawayo by ZimLA Secretary General, H. R. Ncube.
