2022 CALL FOR PAPERS AND POSTERS
The International Association of School Librarianship (IASL) Africa Sub-Sahara & the Zimbabwe Library Association’s joint Hybrid 5th Annual Pre-Conference in School Librarianship will be held in Masvingo, Zimbabwe, on Monday the 4th of July 2022.

Deadline for submission of proposals: May 31, 2022
Notification of acceptance of proposals: June 15, 2022

The IASL Region 1: Africa Sub-Saharan and ZimLA cordially invites all library and information professionals working in school, public and tertiary colleges libraries, educators / researchers who either work in Library & Information Science educational training institutions or have an interest in school & public librarianship to submit proposals for recent research /professional papers/poster presentations for a Pre-Conference to be held prior to the Zimbabwe Library Association’s 55th Annual Conference and General Meeting in Masvingo.

Main Theme:
‘’Virtual Access to Teaching and Learning Resources: School Libraries Leading the Way’’

Papers and posters submitted in print or electronic formats are particularly encouraged in any areas related to virtual access to teaching and learning resources in school public and community librarianship

Submission Deadlines:

• First Call for Papers – 31 March 2022
• Second Call for Papers – 30 April 2022
• Submission of Abstracts – 15 May 2022
• Review and Acceptance – 31 May 2022
• Submission of full Papers/posters
(Print, Electronic and Recorded Presentations) and Registration – 10 June 2022
